With roots in Skagit County, a coaching background, and a passion for real estate, I bring a unique perspective to property transactions. Licensed in 2022, I transitioned from a role as an academic advisor and head baseball coach at Skagit Valley College. Previously affiliated with Weichert Realtors Edge Homes Sales and now working with Team Kelli Lang of RE/MAX Gateway, I bring diverse experience to the real estate arena.

As a life-long resident, I have an intimate understanding of Skagit County's appeal and unique real estate landscape. Specializing in residential and small multi-family housing, I entered real estate investing in 2022. How much money do I need for a down payment?

Buyers can find loan options requiring a down-payment as low as 3 to 3.5%. Some
lenders even have loan programs requiring 0% down. Keep in mind that the lower
your down payment, the higher your monthly mortgage payment will be. Reach out to me and I will get you connected with a lender who will walk you through the process, step by step.

Aside from the down payment, are there any other costs when buying a house?

Yes. Buyers must be aware of the closing costs associated with purchasing a home. Many times, buyers are unaware that they need more than just the down payment. Closing costs typically include loan origination fees, title insurance, prepaid taxes and insurance, and PMI (private mortgage insurance). Closing costs can typically range from 1-3% of the purchase price.

How do I get a loan to buy a house? 

Let’s sit down and chat! I will help you get connected with a preferred mortgage lender and get pre-approved for a home loan. A lender will need the following info from you to get the process started: W-2 statements, paystubs, tax returns, asset & liability statements, credit scores, job history, etc. A qualified lender will be able to assist you through the whole process.

How much will it cost to work with you?

There are no set commissions in real estate, but we mostly see the seller of a home offering to pay the buyer’s agent commission. I do not get paid until you officially purchase the home. During our Intro Meeting, we will discuss the Buyer’s Agency 
Agreement, which is now required by WA State law to be signed before a real estate broker can show homes and write offers for a buyer.
