Samish Bay Cheese, a cornerstone of Skagit Valley cheese, is owned and operated by Suzanne and Roger Wechsler, who farm about 200 acres in the northwest corner of Skagit County, Washington. Their dairy, located near Samish Bay and nestled below Mount Blanchard and the Chuckanut Mountains, is home to a mixed herd, primarily of Milking Shorthorns. The lush, organic pastures of the Skagit/Samish Valley provide the perfect environment for sustainable farming.
