Anacortes High School Baseball: Looking to Build on Last Season’s Success

This past fall, Anacortes High School (AHS) Football won their second straight championship, but as the season transitions to spring, Anacortes High School Baseball is eager to make its mark. With a roster of 40 players, the team is looking to build on last season’s success, which included capturing a district championship and finishing fourth in Washington State High School Baseball.

The Anacortes Seahawks baseball team is proud to highlight a group of standout players who have shown exceptional talent on the field.

  • Jake Andrew, committed to play baseball at Northwest Nazarene University, has been a key contributor to the team.
  • Jack Metcalf and Toby Esqueda, both committed to George Fox, have also been instrumental in the team’s success.
  • Bo Mager, continuing his baseball career at Palomar JC, brings a strong presence to the squad.

Alongside these committed players, Wes Green, Kevin Stunger, Adam Van Egdom, and Tyler Olson have consistently demonstrated their skills and leadership, helping to make the Anacortes Seahawks baseball team a formidable force in Skagit Valley Baseball.

“I’m looking forward to having one more season with a large group of seniors that are really good baseball players. It’s a great group of kids that I’ve known for years,” said Head Coach Patrick Swapp.
