Burlington-Edison High School Baseball Team Off to Strong Start
BURLINGTON, Wash. — The Burlington-Edison High School baseball team is back in action this spring, and they are already off to a hot start. As of March 19, 2025, the Tigers stand at 2-0 after impressive wins against Bellingham and Squalicum High Schools. Their potent offense powered them to 15 runs in each game, while their defense held both opponents scoreless.
This season, the Tigers are led by a solid core of returning players, including pitching and first-base standout Tyler Walker, catcher Jakson Granger, and pitcher/shortstop Cody Roetcisoender.
With hopes of improving from last year’s 12-12 overall record and a 9-11 district finish, the Tigers are aiming to surpass their 11th-place finish in the Northwest Conference.
As the season progresses, the team is looking to build on their early success and continue their strong play. With a talented roster and high expectations, the Tigers are poised for a competitive season and are eager to make a deeper run in the district standings.
