The Mount Vernon High School football program is preparing for the 2025 Wesco 3A North season with renewed energy and determination. The Bulldogs will face a competitive slate of opponents from across Skagit Valley and beyond, including Oak Harbor, Ferndale, Marysville Getchell, Sedro-Woolley, Snohomish, and Stanwood.
Last season, Mount Vernon finished with a 2-8 overall record and a 2-4 district record, but the program is focused on building momentum and working toward its first winning season since 2018–19.
Season Schedule Highlights
The Bulldogs will open the season with a tough road matchup against Mariner High School in South Everett. One of the biggest games of the year will be the annual Battle of the Bridge rivalry against Burlington-Edison on September 19—a contest that always draws a strong local crowd and fuels the pride of Skagit football fans.
